Ricardo C. Johnson is the trading name of RCJ Innovations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with company number 15734354. Our registered office is 167 Great Portland Street, London, England, W1W 5PF. In these terms, "we" and "us" means RCJ Innovations Ltd.

2. Information on this website

The content on this website is general information. This includes the Exit Readiness Assessment, its scores and report, the downloads and the examples. It is not financial, accounting, tax, legal, investment or transaction advice, and it is not a valuation of any business.

It does not take account of your circumstances. Take advice specific to your business before you act on it. We work hard to keep the content accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is complete, accurate or current.

3. What we do and do not do

We provide commercial finance analysis and advice to businesses. Ricardo C. Johnson is not a chartered or certified accountant. We do not:

prepare statutory accounts or tax returns, or act as your auditor
give regulated investment advice, or arrange deals in investments
introduce investors, lenders or buyers
advise on the terms of a sale, purchase or fundraising transaction

We are not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Where your plans need regulated advice, we work alongside your own corporate finance adviser, accountant or solicitor.

4. Our services and prices

Paid work is provided under a separate written engagement letter, which sets out the scope, fee, payment terms and our responsibilities. If the engagement letter and these terms differ, the engagement letter applies to the paid work.

Prices on this website are in pounds sterling. RCJ Innovations Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. Prices shown as "from" are starting prices. We confirm the fee in writing before any work starts. Nothing on this website is an offer that you accept by using the website.

5. Free tools and downloads

You are welcome to use the assessment, its report and our downloads within your own business. Please do not sell, republish or pass them off as your own.

6. Using the website

Please do not misuse the website. This includes trying to gain unauthorised access to it or its systems, submitting false information through its forms, or sending anything harmful, such as viruses.

We do not promise that the website is always available or free from errors. We suspend or change it when we need to, for example for maintenance.

7. Intellectual property

The content, design, name, logo and downloads on this website belong to RCJ Innovations Ltd or are used with permission. Apart from the use allowed in section 5, do not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

8. Links to other websites

The website links to services we do not control, such as Calendly and LinkedIn. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them. We are not responsible for their content.

9. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit or exclude.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the free content on this website. This includes loss of profit, revenue, business, savings, goodwill or data, and any indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for paid work is set out in the engagement letter.

10. Privacy and cookies

Our privacy policy explains how we use personal data. Our cookie notice explains the cookies used when you book a call.

11. Changes to these terms

We update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. The version on the website when you use it applies.

12. Law and company details

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
